Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Mira is a self-hosted AI assistant run by one operator for their own personal use. By connecting a Google account to Mira or using it in any other way, you agree to these terms.

1. Personal-use tool

Mira is provided for personal, non-commercial use by its operator. It is not offered to the public, has no accounts or subscriptions, and may change or stop at any time without notice.

2. Authorised use only

  • Only connect Google accounts, calendars and spreadsheets you own or are permitted to use.
  • Do not use Mira to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to access data you are not authorised to access.
  • Use of Google services through Mira is also subject to Google's own terms and policies.

3. Human oversight

Mira can take actions such as creating or deleting calendar events and writing to spreadsheets. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misunderstood. Review anything consequential — appointments, money, health decisions, or messages to other people — before relying on it or letting it stand. You remain responsible for decisions made with Mira's help.

4. No professional advice

Mira does not provide medical, financial, legal or other professional advice. Health summaries are informational and are not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Expense records and totals may contain errors and are not accounting, tax or investment advice. Seek a qualified professional where it matters.

5. Privacy

How Mira accesses, uses, stores and deletes Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Google access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page.

6. No guarantees

Mira is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given that it will be available, uninterrupted, accurate, secure or fit for any particular purpose. It depends on third-party services, including Google, AI service providers and a messaging service, that may change, fail or become unavailable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mira's operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on Mira's output, missed or altered events, inaccurate records, or the unavailability of Mira or the services it depends on.

8. Applicable law

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You can stop using Mira and revoke its Google access at any time.
